ElectriFix Home Automation is a trading name of ElectriFix Perth (ABN 46 694 610 645), based in Rockingham, Western Australia. Contact us at [email protected].
We offer one-off, remote services, delivered worldwide:
This is remote software diagnosis and repair of your Home Assistant installation only.
We do not do electrical work, we do not attend your property, and we do not supply, install or replace hardware. Nothing about this service is a substitute for a licensed electrician or tradesperson, and nothing we send you is legal, financial or safety advice.
Locks, alarms, cameras, doors, gates, garage doors and valves are excluded from every fix we make, automatically. Anything in those categories needs a human and your own say-so, not us. The single exception is the Repair & Build tier, where they can be unlocked for your job after we have checked who you are and you have accepted the security waiver; the exclusion applies in full on every other tier and until that waiver is accepted.
How far that exclusion reaches, stated precisely: we check what a change does directly, and what it does one step removed — any script, scene or automation the change itself runs is read and refused on the same grounds. We do not, and cannot, predict what your own pre-existing automations then do in response to a change we make. If you have an automation that reacts to a light coming on by opening a gate, that is outside what we can see.
Every plan of changes is checked by code against a fixed set of safety rules, and nothing is applied to your system without your say-so — we show you each proposed change in plain language and you choose which of them go ahead. Every change we do make is snapshotted first and automatically rolled back if it doesn't verify afterwards. If anything does go wrong, a person will look at it within three business days.
A repair session is sold at one of three tiers. Prices are in AUD and include GST for Australian customers. Each tier includes everything the cheaper one does.
Your job stays open for 7 days from the time you pay, on every tier. A follow-up round is one further request from you and our response to it, and that limit applies after the report is delivered. Your job page shows how many you have left.
Each job also includes a generous amount of automated checking. In the rare case a job needs more than that, it stops and a person reviews it — you’re never left without an answer, and you’re never charged more without choosing an upgrade.
You can move up a tier at any time while your job is open, and you pay only the difference between what you have already paid and the price of the tier you are moving to. There is no downgrade and no partial refund for moving down. A purchase made before 16 September 2026, when tiers were introduced, is treated as a Repair — that is what the single price at the time covered.
Payment is a single, one-off charge through Stripe Checkout, at the price of the tier you chose. We never see or store your card details. There is no subscription and no card kept on file. See our Refund Policy for when a refund applies.
At the end of a job we ask you to rate it out of five and, if you want to, leave one line about it. Ratings are optional — your job is handled exactly the same way whether you leave one or not. We publish the number of repairs we have completed and the average rating, and those numbers include every rating we hold. We publish your written comment only if you tick the box releasing it, and when we do it carries no name, and we may use an anonymised summary of what was wrong and what fixed it only if you tick that box too. Anonymised means the summary describes the fault and the fix and nothing that could identify you, your address or your home: we never publish anything taken from inside your Home Assistant, including screenshots, entity names, device names or logs. You can ask us to remove a published comment at any time by emailing [email protected].
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited by law, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or refunding the price you paid for it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for anything arising out of this service is limited to the amount you paid us for it.
These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute, without limiting any right you have to bring a claim in your own jurisdiction under a law that cannot be excluded.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published at this address at the time you pay.
